I AM SO
SICK OF THIS DAD GUM FLAMING HEAT I COULD JUST SPIT....among other things that have crossed my mind.

My plants are withered and dead.
My house is a hot mess...literally both of those.
The devil himself left 3 weeks ago.
My little dears are hot and cranky.
My sparkling personality is a dream to be married to.
Ok, I'm done.
Time to put on my big girl pants....right after it cools off, till then only a shirt.

That was the ultimate conclusion at the lunch table today. WE ARE ALL SICK OF THE HEAT!!! There is no AC or swamp in the lunch room, so it was hard to make it through lunch and actually be able to enjoy what we were eating. And the coolers are struggling to keep the classrooms cool and dry...in some rooms it's just plain MISERABLE!

The talk at the table was of the cool mornings and evenings that await us once this heat clears out. We were all anxious for that. Until then, we will continue to sear our hands on our stearing wheels at the end of a long day of work...hike our pants up to our knees and blast the car's AC. I know that with baby almost here, this heat does not help. Hang in there...cooler temps will be here soon. In the meantime - Get lots of ice!

On a more positive note, according to Accuweather.com "Soil moisture conditions are ideal for crop growth today." I'm sure that will really help your situation...

who is sproatmeal? That is hilarious!! I feel for you girl...I have an air conditioner and I'm still grumpy from the heat. If I didn't have an air conditioner - I'd have to take something for post partum!

I was in Utah all last week, even up in the mountains, and it was so, so beautiful. I really did not want to come back to the heat--last night I thought I was going to melt and a little bit of the devil crept over into my home. I've been working all day to get rid of him. Who's house should I send him to?
