While we were eating Christmas breakfast Stephen told Gabriel a joke that went like this:
Why was six afraid of seven?
Because seven eight (ate) nine.
Because seven eight (ate) nine.
Yeah, real knee slapper, considering Gabriel hasn't learned about homophones yet. Gabriel was not about to be out done, so he made up his own joke right there on the spot. It went like this:
Why was the booger afraid of the tissue?
Because it was gonna get blown out.
Because it was gonna get blown out.
I'm always a little worried when something begins with booger or some other bodily function. I think it was a pretty cute joke for a 4 year old to come up with. We all got a good laugh, and a great start for our Christmas Day.
We are never sure what will come out of these kids mouths, it keeps like exciting.

That is pretty creative! I miss those little boys! When is the next one due exactly? We miss you guys
Mariah told us that he had a new joke he had made up to tell us at dinner. When it was time for him to tell it he smiled and then so unsure if he should tell it or not. It kind of looked like he thought he might be in trouble. It wsa a hit with the family and then he decided to tell it again. Poor kid, he & Garrett were so wound up over the holidays that they have gotten into hot water more than once, but now to the settling in for the rest of winter HA!
